Conservation has always been a goal in our society. In the ‘90s, preserving recyclable materials was considered “smart.” In the twenty-first century, conservation of one’s finances and time was considered “smart.” Society began to find ways to cut back on wasted time in the office and business meetings. Eliminating time-wasting activities also saved corporations money, something that you can never have too much of. After the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the American economy took a turn for the worst. The economic decline has now stretched to Europe and other nations (particularly, those who invest in US events) are experiencing the effects of the decline, too.
Although Apple makes millions each day, the company is on a campaign to conserve its spending and provide state-of-the-art technology, all at the same time. The latest touch-panel cell technology allows the touch sensors to “glide” into and become a part of the liquid crystal display (LCD)...

The Apple Corporation knows exactly what to do with its hour each day: sell its iPhones and iPads. According to CNN Business, Apple sells 385,000 iPhones a day (16,000 iPhones an hour on average) and about 129,600 iPads a day (5,400 per hour). In the time it takes some people to get dressed, eat a meal, or take a lunch break, Apple has sold so many iPhones and iPads and made a...

One of the iPhone 5 rumors bouncing around the Internet of late is that Apple is going to make the SIM card holder out of Liquid metal and, hey it's shaped a little different. Others have claimed that Apple is not going to change anything on the SIM card holder because they have not gotten permission to do so from the standards board that governs such things. While getting the blessings of standard boards has never been high on Apple’s to do list, considering they “led by example” with the mini-SIM card and just started using them and let the rest of the word catch up or adapt thanks to X-Acto knife technology and indirectly created a market for little sleeves to let users use the trimmed SIM cards in full sized holders.
In case you are wondering, think of a SIM card as the key that makes a GSM standard phone operate. The SIM card has a little golden chip on it that contains all the phone information to allow the owner of the SIM card to access the carrier network and identify itself...

Some sites have been claiming that supply chain problems are going to “delay” the iPhone 5 from June at the Apple World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) to an October launch date. Not true. Apple never intended to start selling the iPhone 5 in the late June early July time frame and the last problem Apple would have in producing the iPhone 5 is procuring components. The reasons for Apple shipping the iPhone 5 in the late September early October are revolve around the oddities of United States wireless carriers, the ramping up production lines, and cash flow. Our cash flow, not Apple’s.
First, component shortages. While it is true that Qualcomm has mentioned concerns about meeting demand, and Samsung may be outsourcing some of its Galaxy S III processors to other chip makers, Apple may well be the reason for the shortages in the first place. One of the advantages of having more cash on hand than more...

One the the biggest questions about the iPhone 5 is its release date. Some say June because that is when Apple has traditionally held its annual World-Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) and has announced new iPhone in the past. Others are saying October because, well that is when it was for the iPhone 4S and is the kick off for the holiday shopping season. This was also the time that Apple would announce the latest iPods as well. However, the iPod is far less relevant to Apple nowadays as more and more of us are using iPhones as our listening device of choice. On the other hand Apple loves being in the limelight and having media events spread out over the year keeps the free buzz going. Based on the credible rumors out there, it is quite possible that we will see an announcement of the iPhone 5 in June and product availability in late September early October.

Earlier this year, reports abounded that the new iPhone 5 would have Gorilla Glass material. Gorilla Glass is reported to be one of the most durable glass types on the planet. The Apple Corporation implemented Gorilla Glass in its iPhones to prevent iPhones from breaking and damaging easily. Over time, however, it was discovered that Gorilla Glass could still break. This fact prompted Apple to look for a stronger Gorilla Glass (called “Gorilla Glass 2”) that would not break, despite its numerous collisions with the floor, cement, or other hard surface.
News reports surfacing this week reveal that Apple (and another mobile technology giant) will switch from glass to some other type of material for its screen displays. According to...
